1. He manages to be an optimistic douchebag.
Jean-Ralphio has so many desirable traits: optimism, confidence, and ambition. Despite all these positive qualities, his character manages to be so unlikable. He's so fun to hate that you'll 180 into loving him (and then complete a 720° into hating him again).
2. He has crazy style.
Hot Fashion Tip: You can pull off any style as you have the confidence to rock it. Jean-Ralphio has the worst wardrobe/hair on TV and the unwarranted arrogance to make it work.
3. Failure can't touch him.
His life is a constant stream of professional failures, romantic rejections, and schemes gone awry, but he remains completely unaffected. He gets back up on Lil' Sebastian and rides that cow to the baaaank.
4. His skeeviness doesn't discriminate.
Jean-Ralphio's desperation for sexual attention spans across anything with legs. It's a bad trait for a human to have but a great character trait for the entire Parks and Rec ensemble to play off of.
5. He's caught in the perfect bad bromance.
Considering how selfish he is, Jean-Ralphio is a surprisingly good friend to Big T. He has financially supported multiple of Tom's ventures and is always there to give bad advice. Watching these two enable each others' terrible decision-making is better than making irresponsible choices yourself.
6. It's fun to watch him be reckless.
Your inner sociopath loves to watch Jean-Ralphio run amuck in his blissfully ignorant world of no consequences or responsibilities.
7. He is the master of melodic one-liners.
When that hand goes up, you know a beautifully inappropriate sing-song is about to go down.
8. His ridiculousness can only be matched by his family.
Jean-Ralphio and Mona-Lisa together are live-action Looney Toon characters. Add Henry Winkler to the twisted Saperstein family tree, and shit gets ludacrispy... or some other terrible phrase only the Sapersteins' douchelevels can pull off saying.
